Problem
The project needed a professional web presence to publish research content in a way that is easy for users to navigate and easy for stakeholders to maintain. Research sites often struggle with inconsistent content presentation, poor findability, and limited governance—especially if the build doesn’t include clear templates and workflows.
Solution (What I did)
Designed and developed the website from scratch in WordPress, setting up the full site architecture and page templates.
Implemented a structured content model (repeatable page layouts/components) to keep content consistent across the site.
Built a maintainable admin experience (menus, reusable blocks/sections, clear content editing patterns) to support non-technical updates.
Applied SEO foundations (metadata approach, headings, internal linking, clean URLs) and performance-minded build practices.
Provided handover support so the site could be updated confidently after launch.
Results
Delivered a complete end-to-end WordPress build ready for ongoing publishing and growth.
Improved content consistency via templates and patterns (reducing long-term maintenance overhead).
